Drutex is growing at double-digit rates
The Polish window market is recording a further increase in exports. The main contributor to this is Poland-based window manufacturer Drutex.
With reference to a study by the Polish market research agency Centrum Analiz Branzowych (CAB) Drutex reported in a recent press release that last year about seven million window units were exported from Poland. The previous year’s value was thus exceeded by about nine percent.
As one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of PVC windows and doors, Drutex contributes significantly to this market growth, the statement said. Since its foundation in 1985, the company has recorded a steady increase in sales volume, both in Poland and abroad.
18 percent revenue growth in the first half of the year
In the first half of 2018, according to its own statements, Drutex achieved an increase of more than 18 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. The foreign distribution has been for years the driving force for the development of the company. The export share of the total turnover amounts to already 73 per cent and increases steadily.
Recently, in addition to the German, especially in the Italian and American markets, there has been considerable growth. To further drive this positive trend, the company does not rely solely on the high quality of its products. By participating in various social and cultural projects as well as by investing in innovations, she is constantly strengthening her brand awareness.
New construction of another production hall
Even today, Drutex already has a production area of more than 95,000 square meters, but still this year the company will start building another production hall with more than 14,000 square meters. So far, the company has a product potential of up to 7,000 PVC, aluminum, wood and wood-aluminum windows.
“We’ve never seen a decline in our 30-year history,” said Leszek Gierszewski, founder and CEO of the company, “and everything indicates that growth will continue in both the second half of 2018 and the entire next year We are preparing for this – we are preparing for that. “
Prepared for every scenario
At the same time, Gierszewski emphasizes that both the company and the Drutex brand, thanks to their sound business philosophy and strong base, could cope with the unlikely occurrence of a mild economic slowdown.
“We have prepared ourselves for every scenario, because we are a very stable company, we do not use leasing, outsourcing or limited credit, we take care of large stocks, in other words the security of the company in the broadest sense stand firmly on the ground with both feet and have built up the business with everlasting modesty – the best is yet to come, at home and abroad. “
